Seniors' Afternoon tea
Seniors’ Afternoon Tea
On October the 19th we hosted our first Seniors’ Afternoon Tea at the Cambs Glass Stadium. It was a brilliant chance for seniors’ to get together, to make new friends and spend time with old friends while enjoying a hot drink and a piece of cake. There was a excellent selection of cake on offer with a number of games and quizzes taking place!
The afternoon teas will take place every third Thursday of the month between 2-4PM in the Premier Travel suite. Andy Farrer, Cambridge United Community Trust Health and Inclusion Officer, said “We are really excited to provide another opportunity for seniors’ in the community to get together at the stadium. It was brilliant to see such a friendly and welcoming environment to the tea and we are looking forward to many more to come in the future!”
