National Citizen Service

Cambridge United Community Trust would like to introduce you to the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme. NCS brings together 16- to 17-year olds from different backgrounds in a programme of challenge, learning, and discovery.

This enables all participants to develop the confidence, and skills they need to become more engaged with their communities and become active and responsible citizens, whilst having an amazing and enjoyable, action-packed experience!

The young people who take part will enjoy an all-action outward bound residential trip, before returning to Cambridge to continue their personal development with a number of tasks and challenges. The final aspect of the programme is to plan and deliver a project in the local community.
