Walking Football

Cambridge United offers a wealth of programmes and events for older people in Cambridge - one of which is a weekly coached football session. Walking football is for men and women of all ages and abilities. Anyone looking to exercise in a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment should consider it.

Cambridge United runs Walking Football sessions at:

1) Abbey Leisure Complex. These sessions are held weekly on Thursdays from 11.00am - 12.00pm and costs £5 including lunch. These sessions go to Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre in the winter months.

Check out our interview with one of our participants, Derek, talking about his experiences doing walking football with CUCT.
