World Book Day
Here at Cambridge United Community Trust, we are as passionate about reading as we are about football. To mark World Book Day 2018 on 1st March, this year we are launching a book-related competition for local primary schools.
Our competition is based on the fact that Marvin the Moose has run out of things to read in his den and he needs some recommendations from younger readers. To see Marvin's letter to schools in full, please click here.
The winners of our competition will receive a visit from Marvin and a Cambridge United first-team player on World Book Day, as well as a selection of book-related prizes. In the meantime, keep an eye out for reading recommendations from CUFC players on our social media channels!
For more information about the competition, or any aspect of our work in schools, please contact Tim Walker, our Head of Primary School Sport and Education.
